This data is collected solely to process your booking request and contact you back. It is transmitted by email via the Resend service and is not stored in any third-party database.
2.2 Technical and functional cookies
The site sets functional cookies tied to two services: the interactive Mapbox map (set only after your explicit consent) and the Lodgify booking engine (necessary for the booking service you request on the gîte pages). See our cookie policy for details.
2.3 Online booking (Lodgify)
The gîte pages embed the Lodgify booking engine. When you make a booking, the information entered in the widget — identity, contact details, stay dates, number of guests and payment data — is collected and processed directly by Lodgify, acting as a processor for booking management and secure payment. 3. Legal basis for processing
- Consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR): for Mapbox cookies.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR): for processing booking requests submitted via the contact form.
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR): for managing bookings and payments made through the Lodgify booking engine.
4. Data recipients
Your data may be transmitted to the following providers, strictly within their missions:
- Lodgify (online booking engine and secure payment) — processes booking and payment data when you book a gîte online.
- Resend (transactional email) — processing in the United States, framed by Standard Contractual Clauses (GDPR Art. 46).
- Mapbox (interactive mapping) — only if you accept functional cookies.
- Asgard Hosting / IONOS By One And One (hosting) — data transits through the servers hosting the site.
No data is sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
5. Retention period
- Contact data: kept only for the time needed to process your request, then deleted from mailboxes within 12 months.
- Cookie consent: stored locally in your browser (localStorage), with no forced expiry, removable at any time by clearing browsing data.
